The race for NFL MVP is heating up, with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson trading places as the favorite to win the award this week, according to the latest NFL MVP odds.
Mahomes took home MVP honors in 2018, and is looking to become the first repeat winner since Peyton Manning in 2008-09.
The last non-quarterback to be named NFL MVP was running back Adrian Peterson in 2012. Nine of the last 10 NFL MVP recipients have been quarterbacks.
